Well first im sure i should post my small army XD.

Anyways im working on a druid and finishing warrior too, but for now that is what i have. Now what i intend to do is i will find 40g and under obsidium ore stacks(i know not a real safety net but im not worried about that) and i prospect of course to get all my gems. Now the fact is i have 3 rare jc cuts(reverberating,agile and burning) and a few vendor ones. I also have bold,brilliant,and delicate inferno ruby cuts. What i do is since i have an overstock of blues and i was xmuting infernos for a long time i began to cut them and list them(3-5 at a time). I only list gems for 12h because undercutting is an issue and this allows me more flexibility.

Now with the rest of them gems i will of course make my carnelian spikes and rings and necklaces. I will keep all blue jaspers and alicites since there lvl 79 stuff(green alicite is 80) and i DE the rest. Right now hypnotic dust is spiking up and down but i always wait for it to be around 7g+ each. Now what i do is before i disenchant everything i begin to sell those rings/necklaces that are jasper/alicite because they have different stats, before i throw them on the AH i offer my guildies a set for 100g for 2 rings and 1 pendant and sometimes they want them and sometimes they dont. I allow them to choose the kind of stats they want and then i throw the rest on the AH for 45-55g each. Before i log off i bark it in trade explaining how those without cataclysm or about to hit lvl 79 and wanna get some nice rings, or even those hitting 80 and want to get some power before going into cata can use them. (i checked with a guildie without cata and he can wear em...in fact cept his weapon he has all cata greens/blues lvl 80 and lower)

Anyways i sell the DE materials and if there is some stray celestial essences that wont fit in a stack i want them to be in i break them into lessers and make a few mighty stats on vellums(check your ah first and find out what about 66% of your greater celestial price is cause it only takes 2 lessers) and i throw em in ah. While these items are selling i either go offline, go level an alt,go farm, or just keep an eye on the AH.

I like to take cheap materials such as cloth and bars and turn them into expensive disenchanting items when the opportunity arises(thorium/runecloth to illusion dust/greater eternal essences), and i like to get cheap adamanatite ore and sell the powder/mercurial (find anyone lvling jc before listing if possible)and i usually sell for more then the entire ore stack itself. Some of these gems are good such as golden draenites and whatnot and can sell for a nice little price...i also tend to find people who are needing the blue bc gems or i vend them as a write off. At this point since ive been searching for those cheap void crystals(2-5g each) and large prismatic shards(small prismatic and nexus crystals if cheaper to help make one) and i make mongoose enchants and sell them for 300g+. I also will shatter voids if i get too overstocked on them and if its the cheaper route. Fel iron bars are cheap at times or cheap enough where i can make rings to DE without going into a money sink. I also hunt the AH for cheap dust/planars too.

I like to obtain cheap frozen orbs when they come along because eternal fires are high price...but i can go to dalaran and exchange these when i snatch cheap saronite bars/titanium bars and i can make titansteel bars and sell em for a nice profit.

For inscription i get cheap herbs of all styles and i will make rogue decks/sword decks/demon decks. I had found that the demon deck gives you a blue equip when you turn in and ive sold the dagger for over 100g from it. I also will exchange blackfallow ink if i must for the more expensive ink that tradeskill master cannot find for me in ah. If im in constant need of inks i will find guildies grinding for darkmoon faerie cards and i will ask them for 7-8 blackfallow inks for 1 inferno ink of mine(from milling). This is a good way to obtain at least 2 glyphs you may wanna make. When i would make some darkmoon faerie cards, if there not valuable to me or not that worth it in ah but someone is trying to obtain it with card grinding i either ask them for 8 inferno inks or 80 blackfallow inks. They jump to this offer to save on their volatile life and get the card they want.

Course i also buy cheap netherweave cloth and make them into bags. I tend to sell all of them within a day...i would only make them when your afking for something though because cast time is SLOW.


And last but not least when im on alts i of course watch for any limited vendor items or far out the way cooking recipes(such as from hammerfall) and i will buy them to resell for 8-15g each. I also look for any raw meat and sell it there for some extra gold.


There is a few things here and there i also do, but thats the general stuff i do...now this is all server dependant so these techniques can be a gold sink to you or a goldmine.....you should be finding out. Just understand though if you buy a bunch of extremely cheap thorium and/or runecloth all the time and make them illusion dust/eternal essences that people will catch up to what your doing...so i suggest one account buys and other sells. Also the gap in cheap materials may close if they think its in high demand...which is kinda good cause itll discourage others from trying in your market for awhile.


My addons for AH reasons and where my money/items are at are as followed:

TradeSkill Master(search youtube,wowcurse, or consortium for how to use this because im still trying to get it 100% down. but if you wanna download it click the link in wowcurse for the entire package instead of one at a time cause downloading one at a time gives me errors)

Panda(makes DE,milling,and prospecting easier)

Auditor(keeps track of gold and where it goes)

Altoholic(allows me to find items and where its at and what skills i got on what character but you must visit each character of yours bank and if you choose so the guild bank too)

Postal(helps open all your mail)

And of course auctioneer.


One thing that does make life easier to organize my things though to know what i got is:

Genie(organizes your bag or bank and puts stacks together)

Baganon(some use bagark or whatever its called)
I like this addon because not only does it combine the bags but it has a built in search function so you dont have to hunt for everything in your bag.


Once again before trying any of these tips check the server economy. Also these addons are not in violation to the TOS as it does require enough human interaction that it isnt considered botting....but saves alot of time and/or helps makes alot of gold.

Oh this is after editing...im learning to TL;DR, but its a slow process XD.

Nice setup of professions.

It's the summer and many returning players will farm ore on a few days.
Yesterday I saw 3-4 differents names for obsidium followed today by elementium and pyrithe.

I think your 40g buyout is too high.

I prefer snatching obsidium at 25-30g and Elementium at 25-35g.
I prospect all, make carnelians, orange ring and purple necklace + dez.

Personnaly, I vendor to npc the blue, yellow and green color.
That reduce the time of shuffling and allows me to prospect more ore.

Also you will end up with too much dust if you dez alicite and jasper.

When I was selling the blue ring/necklace, i was selling them at 250 gold/u, 4-6 per day but the listing time is quite boring.
Now i dez them because the shards are around 80-120 gold on my server.


Concerning illusion dust/greater eternal essences, I do the same, I started cata with a huge stock of GEE (1k) bought at 10g/u at the end of lk (Insane farmers at DM) and sold them slowly at 75/125g/u.

For next darmoon fair, I will exchange 3-6k of dense stone to get sombrelune tickets and I will exchange for many bags that contains green/blue lvl 50-60 items + some reciepe. I will dez all greens to restock.

I just recently started doing the same with nether essence as the AH on my server is regurlary empty.
I don't expect to control it because it's more easily available.
