Hi people!

As many of you may recognized, the Whiptail spawn in Uldum was really insane, prices dropped and many people wondered if this is the way blizzard wanted it to be.
After some days it got a hotfix.


So i thought (like some other people i guess) i should buy some of the cheap stacks to resell it later.
Price after the increased spawn was like ~60-90g a Stack.
Im playin on a high population realm (EU-Frostwolf, biggest german realm) but i though it could work anyway.
I bought around 2,3k Whiptail until yesterday, whats about 10,3k Gold i invested into this.

Today i though maybe the people are out of supplies soon, but it dont seems like that.
Prices are still around 70-90g a Stack.

After reading some forums i got the information that the spawn is not like instant like it was on patchday, buts its still fairly high.

So im asking myself nowadays - was this "massiv" buyout and investment a gold-waste, or should i be a little bit more patient?

I'd say wait it out a little longer (1 week+). Those that gathered insane amounts during the bug are likely to still have a fair bit of stock. Worst case scenario is that you purchased heaps at the current 'market' price Craft it into something and make a profit!

Sit 1-2 Weeks on it , you will be happy.

The herb prices are down this week because the Faire is gone. On my server I saw 0 impact on price or volume of whiptail on the market from the spawn rate changes. All the herb prices track together and the only thing they line up with is the Faire.

Hold your herbs for two more weeks and then sell the lot.

A bot on my server keeps posting them for 80g a stack. Bought 60 stacks this morning, along with 800 volatile life at 7.4g a pop.

Hope it resells during the next faire, because that's a large investment for me

Things are picking up finally on my server. Heartblossom up from 45g per stack to 180-220g per stack. Whiptail up to 100g from 80g. But think that has further to go...

Whiptail prices are still going down on my server. The day after the patch it was 4.5, now it's down to 3.1. Starting to get a little worried. >_>

Prices are dropping at my Realm too - i was a getting a little bit worried but know...!
Please God dont let this be my biggest goldwaste!

No sign of recovery here. Oh well!
