But yeah already done this, good thing is you can either :
-sell it as savage leather
-sell it as heavy savage leather
-sell it as pristines
-craft and DE...

The possibilites are endless, and barely anyone thinks about buying the scraps. Depending on days, you could easily save a gold or two (depending on realms) buying scraps instead of leather.

Best I did was, buy about 7k of those, gave me 32 pristine made approx 500%-600% profit

The MS window makes an average of my sales. I sell them for around 5-600 a piece.

Scraps cannot be converted by non LWs , so skinners are stuck selling the scraps cheap , since only LWs can change them into leather , no one is interested in buying them thus the low price and very low with a half retarded server. I pay mine fairly high around 25 to 30g+ a stack , 100g+ profit per skin for such low time invested compared to shuffles is worth it. Turning them into leg armor if you are able to sell them on the right days with not too many retards can grant between 200-300 profit per leg armor.

Very lucrative market , i hope they leave scraps alone and not make them convertible by anyone.

this market is.. sort of a side line at best for me.

the scraps are getting COD to me cheap but then again despite savage leather climbing in price theres a farmer who sends savage leather to me at 80g a stack. so.. meh whatever.
so it started with me wanting to find a cheap maels source. enter belt of nefarious whispers (or something like that)
i posted how to make this pretty cheap. 1900g on the high end 1300g on the low end without me being a LW.

anyways i noticed the market going up on leather, and the market on maels crumbling. so that put an end to it but then i had all this savage leather and scraps laying around. so i started flipping it and turning hte scraps into SL to sell it. pristine hides require a little more work for me but i can get one for about 200-250. problem is they sell at the absolute high end at 500g. realistically they go for 350g and they are slow movers.

anyways, this market is an iffy one. scraps cost next to nothing but LW are the only ones using them and they get there own for the most part. it really takes lots of lazy people to make for a real profit and for any kind of consistent profit

The hides only cost me from 75-100g each.

Slow movers , but you can't lose from it.

I've found much greater success selling both epic leg armors vs. the hides and leather itself. More people raiding or gearing alts, plus BH boss drops pants, so the demand is fairly high. I average 1-2 of each leg armor per day. It doesn't sound like a lot, but it moves faster than the Hides alone, and gross sales are ~1300g/day total from the leg armors.

I sold the hides because the legs were almost the same price and the mats ( scales ) were hard to come by. ( unlike the fires , that were sometimes over priced ).

My server dried up on leather , botters died.
