Kind of moving away from the transmutes, but I've been gathering Old World non-combat pets that may become unavailable after Cataclysm drops. So far I have a good collection of raptor hatchlings and a couple whelps.

What other pets do you think I could buy now and sell at a large profit later once they become unavailable?

Any cheap Argent Tourny pets. They won't be taken away in Cata but they will be just as tiresome to get and a lot less people will be selling them.

Not sure if it's been stated as gone or just speculated that it may be but the black tabby because of the changes to ambermill and the dalaran crater areas.

Hey, i am not sure if it is relevant to cataclysm necessary but i just want to ask this: is there a "realm first" achievements for maxing the proffesion, or is it only for maxlvl of each class and each race?

Yes, there are realm firsts for maxing each profession.

Really? I'm thinking mainly about Solid Sky Sapphire when I say that... it's a huge gold-maker. Won't there be some kind of equivalent to this in cata? Whether it's still sky sapphire or an epic cut?

Will remain the same, but +22 intellect seems to be superior enchant now for boa spellcaster weapons.
8 SP vs a huge mana pool advantage and dont forget int converts into crit as well so the difference in dps is actually smaller than 8 SP.

I haven't been doing much stockpiling, but I have been camping with my DK the last few weeks and managed to pick up 4 of these as well.

Ever since someone revived this thread July 20th with an inappropriate add, this thread was marked for me as having something new posted.

But since the add was deleted, I can't read the new post to mark this thread as fully read.

Even though I've read the thread to the end, it persists in reporting there are more unread posts. And if someone were to make a new post, I wouldn't know due to the "false positives" I've been getting.

Hopefully this post will fix that problem.
