Dani, here's some info for you:

KTQ can help with which glyphs to craft
APM is much like ZA.
Bankstack can move items from bank to bags and back.
Backup your WTF folder to save all your addon preferences.

Most of these addons have threads in this forum. Have fun.

Auction Profit Master

APM is another child born from Quick Auctions. It can be found here: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/auction-profit-master.aspx

Just as myself, sapu94 (the project leader of APM), has large goals for his version and I have discussed joining his project to make it into one giant package. Personally I'm still a bit torn between teaming up and working on an alternative and would like you to select your preference. Do you think a merge would be for the good, or do you reckon I should attempt to make ZA larger myself?

Zero,
Long time lurker/reader. I think you should go with getting together with sapu94. You both seem to be outstanding coders and working together you could really make fast strides to having an allinclusive trade/auction addon.

Combine your code now and get to work so you'll have the best addon for cataclysm. That's my opinion anyway.

First after blue! (sry had to do it :))

I think I have to agree with Markco. Why should 2 separate Addons be developed that do essentially the same? And if they get their addon finished earlier than you Zero, then hardly anyone will switch to yours after its finished.

IMO you should combine your experience and strengths to one super duper awesome Addon of glorious Glory and Awesomeness.

Just my two Copper (hur hur see what I did there?)

Greetings

Rather than creating a combined project, perhaps you could work on a code sharing agreement.

i.e. You both run your own projects but rather than reinventing the wheel you permit each other to use your code. That way you can both pick and choose which features you will use from the other and leave out things that arent to your taste. Zero might for example want his version to implement extentions into Inventorium, whereas APM might integrate with Scroll Master.

Its the same deal as with Skillet/LSW/ATSW/GnomeWorks, they all essentially do the same thing but everyone will prefer a slightly different flavour

Hi there Zero,

Similar to what was posted on the previous page, i too am getting an Lua error every time i hover over the ZA craft button in the profession. Also, the Buy and ZA and the crafting window are slightly misaligned with the actual profession box, not sure if this is just me.

Might be a dumb question:

Is there a way to set ZeroAuctions to display items you're missing during the posting process?
Like if I put [Glyph of Mage Armor] in an item group but forgot to craft it and ZA queues items up to post and says something like "Item Missing, Cannot post [Glyph of Mage Armor]"
Not sure if there's a setting for it x.x If not that's my suggestion lol
I can get forgetful on some items.

Thanks for the addon, Zero! =]

I'm getting an LUA error as well, and I think it's causing my tradeskill window to be jumbled and missing some recipes.

Zero, you have posted in another thread that you are discontinueing ZA and joining the APM dev team. on the APM curse page they have instructions to move group data from QA3 to APM, I was wondering if it would be the same process for ZA?
