The avalanche. This is one of my top secret "Rogue" farming spots for pickpocketing to get boxes (lvl 350 boxes), and runic healing potions. Gobs of them. But fighting the mobs is not easy with a melee combat Rogue, so I stealtyh around and mash my pickpocket macro. if you had a tank pally or druid with gobs of health and armor, I'm guessing you could stand there all day and fight and loot. Time to loot would be a problem though.

People will pay 5-10g PER Reinforced Locked Box, and the Runic Healing Potions (and 15-50s per loot) you get are very helpful. It's not a huge Gold/hour spot I would guess, but it depends.

The TOUGHEST lockpicking levels used to be from 350-400 until I found this spot. But Shhhh....don't tell anyone!!

That's fairly awesome, always like a nice farming challenge, will give it a go on my rogue, thanks.

SKINNING HOT SPOTS:

One low level spot I enjoy when leveling up Skinning is a place I call Croc Island in Loch Modan. The crocs seem to spawn non-stop and I can kill em just as fast as they spawn. I can get through all of my Medium Leather skinning here in no time at all. it's the island in the South East corner area of the Loch. You can get stacks and stacks of Medium leather and some hides too.

Once done there, I head for the raptor cave in the Wetlands along the north eastern section. Farming raptors for leather for hours with little competition. You can also pick up the rare Hatchling pet there too ever 6 hours or so.

If you're a miner as well that raptor cave also yields some Iron Ore, not to mention raptor eggs that you can level Cooking with.

Guide to filming yourself in wow with hypercam

Step1: search for hypercam from your favorite trusted download site
Step2: install Hypercam
step3: run hypercam and log into world of warcraft
Step4: make the program record at 30 or 40 FPS play back at 10 or 20 in (i think) the recording options not sure about that, i don't know why but if you put the playback at the same speed of record you get a horribly sped up video nobody can watch.
Step5: click start, after your done click stop and in the same tab that you changed the FPS at click open file location
Step6: Edit with windows movie maker if you want to, if you want to do a voice over record it seperately with a voice recording program, one is included in windows although a very basic one. not gonna post how to use windows movie maker because im not very good
Finally upload to you tube by going to youtube.com hover over my profile at the top and click upload

I went to try to make a video of pickpocketing these mobs, and discovered:

This area is a real pain to pickpocket. The mobs here just do not stand still, ever, and so I was constantly running into one, or nearly so.

And then the terrain angle made it difficult as well. My camera kept going crazy every time I would change direction. I'm sure there's a setting for this, but I have never really messed with them, and I'm not sure how much good it will do anyway.

All that said, I did get 14 junkboxes in 10 minutes, along with dying once. Then I gave up.

you did get the pick pocket glyph right?

make this into a macro

/console set targetnearestdistance 10
/cleartarget
/targetenemy [target=target, noexists]
/cast pick pocket

set it for 1

and button smash away

But of course I have the glyph. I spent countless hours farming LBRS for my Insane title. :P

I'll give your macro a shot; whatever macro I had was not doing so well. If only those ghouls would stand still...
