Currently i have

80 Paladin Engineering/Enchanting
80 Druid Inscription/Herbalism
69 DK Mining/Jewel Crafting

I was curious, if you have two accounts on the same Battle.Net account, are you able to log into both accounts?
Or do they have to be on seperate bnet accounts.

My current main problem is the number of alts I have, so i'm thinking of RAFing them all up for pre-cata.

Yes. Each will have the same bnet address and password, but will use a dropdown to pick which wow account to use. They all use the same authenticator.

Seeing as how only two people have pally enchanters makes me wonder if my logic's flawed.

It seems to me Pallys are the easiest class to farm old-world items and recipes, which I want to do on occasion. So I'm levelling my new 80lvl pally in enchanting whenever cheap mats present themselves, and I'm going to retrain my DK in a duplicate cooldown profession before Cata.

I decided to make him Enchanting/Blacksmithing because I'll likely find a way to disenchant things my blacksmith makes for money, and because skelleton keys will increase the wealth I can farm.

Why are there so few Enchanter Paladins? Do other people prefer another class for oldworld content, or do you eschew it alltogether? Or are there just better professions for your Pally?

The only paladin I have is a level 11 banker.

If you have 2 account then you can do the following.

If your best geared instance farmer is not an enchanter and you want stuff De'ed grp him up with your enchanter and every drop can be De'ed..
So no real need to reskill your farmer char.

Unless stated otherwise, professions at level 450, Just posting the situation on my "main" server
80 Paladin JC/Mining
80 Deathknight Skinning/Mining
80 Hunter Skinning/Leatherworking
80 Druid Herbalism/Alchemy (Xmute)
80 Mage Tailoring/Enchanting
73 Warrior Blacksmithing/Engineering (Goblin-spec)
67 Warlock Inscription 431/Mining 310
61 Rogue Skinning 320/Engineering 210/Lockpicking 251
0 Rogue -> Goblin Alchemy/????????
0 Priest -> Goblin Alchemy/Tailoring

With the specialty being removed from engineering, I may take up a cooldown-profession on the 61 rogue (who only matters for lockpicking)
Because of the release date late 2010 (or early 2011) That'll probably be 8 level 80s by then, getting them to 75 will be first on the todo-list

EDIT: Warrior is 74 ; Warlock is 69 ; Rogue is 62 as of 18/07/2010

CHANGES AFTER A MONTH: Warrior is 78 ; Warlock is 72 ; Rogue is 68 as of 22/08/2010

As you see, I couldn't resist further leveling the Warrior beyond 75, most of this was done in Battlegrounds so I'll have most of that delicious gold for xp in Northrend. (That is once I get him past Howling Fjord, if you follow Jame's guide, he just got past "adding injury to insult")

@Neil.Reynolds

My Paladin is my enchanter, your logic is sound, running old world instances for rep/patterns/cloth/etc.... is very easy with the pally, being able to DE things makes it that much easier IMO

Figured I'd post an update on this, as you see it's one month later and I'm realy slacking off leveling-wise.
(Maybe my wife's "WTC Baby, your mats" has something to do with it :mrgreen: )

80 Paladin JC/Mining
80 Deathknight Skinning/Mining
80 Hunter Skinning/Leatherworking
80 Druid Herbalism/Alchemy (Xmute)
80 Mage Tailoring/Enchanting
80 Warrior Blacksmithing/Engineering (Goblin-spec)
76 Warlock Inscription/ Mining 385
73 Rogue Skinning 380/Engineering 350/Lockpicking 345
0 Rogue -> Goblin Alchemy/????????
0 Priest -> Goblin Alchemy/Tailoring

The lock's mining is used to limit the cost of the rogues engineering, it's important profession is Inscription anyway.
I'm planning to transfer the rogue to another server so might aswell go ahead and level engineering on it. :roll:
On that new server, I'll be able to use the transfered BOA gear for faster leveling, it'll be a new server to torment AH-wise :lol:
