Just wondering how many of us are out there and how we came about getting so much gold? I currently have 43,103g and pushing around 2k gold a week. I got most of it by owning the fish market on my server for a few months. I still sell fish, but I've started selling saronite ore as another way to make fast money.

Currently around 270k, mostly from the early days of prospecting Saronite Ore and the Gem Market.

Currently about 35k, making approx 1000g a day during the week and 2000g a day on weekends.

I am really only in 2 markets now, Inscription and JC (for DEnch) - they make all my gold. And their return/time seems about the best of anything I have tried ingame

About 250k so far. Averaging about 4k a day in sales (not profit).

Kind of slowed down on things lately.

How Long? Only really been working on it since Wrath of the Lich King came out.

It's worrying how much gets spent on pets, mounts, ah loot etc, when you have easy access to gold. The only thing I need to work out, how do I get to keep the loot instead of having the missus loot master it all to herself?

I have about 20kg Alliance side, where my mains are and about 10kg horde side where I only have a lvl1 Bankalt.

My Alliance bankroll started from the eternal/enchanting mats market and I expanded into JC, and most recently into Inscription, where I've been bringing in around 500-1000g/day.

Horde side, I started my alt there with about 500g I transferred thru a Neutral AH sale and built that up in the Eternal/Enchant/Prof Mats trade, by buying low & selling high. I believe it's taken about 2-3 months to get to this point, but I don't work the horde side too hard, as it was more of an experiment & to see if cross faction trading was worth it on my server.

Now I have to figure out how to get the horde side gold back across without taking too big a neutral AH hit! LoL!

Passed 400K a few weeks ago before leaving on vacation. I've pretty much thrown in the towel on this server due to the number of whiners - I'm toying with the idea of lifting it all to a random server and just taking over their auction house for a few weeks.

Zamboni, are the whiners you mention due to your gold making/market dominance? Or completely unrelated?

I'm just curious, as with 400k+ you could do some serious market manipulation... I think you mentioned somewhere else that you've had some large % of your factions auctions??
