Indeed, since it would take roughly 4.30 × 10^9 characters around the goldcap. Question is whether it would be possible across all servers at all.

There couldn't be that much gold on every server in the world combined. Blizzard says there are something like 11 million subscribers in total, even if all 11 million of them were all gold capped that would be

11 000 000 * 214 000 = 2 354 000 000 000 (So just over 2 Trillion gold)

Zamboni...be careful.

I think someone is following you.

I've finally got 501,141g liquid in my guild bank thanks to a 67k day (thanks Battered Hilt). I'll put a screenie up later before I "splurge".

Hopped in to the 500k bandwagon sometime after the patch too. And as when I reached gold cap, I thought that it would be enough. But now you've gone and made the next bigger thread, so let's see how long it takes to double that 500k. 8-)

Anyway, main methods haven't changed, but of course stocking for 3.3 gave nice returns for the last rush to 500k. In hindsight I really should have stocked more epic gems, would have gained pretty much double of what I have now. For example red and yellow epic gems used to sell for 140g or so, when now it's rare to get anything under 200g. Oh well, live and learn. Good to know what to stock for patches with lots of new instances, well in the next expansion then. :)

I still have truckloads of herbs and Frost lotuses that I haven't unloaded. The lotus prices are just starting to climb up (with a little help from yours truly) so not liquidating that much yet. Hopefully after the holidays when new raid bosses open the price should be somewhat higher still. If not I'll at least have flask materials to last my own use for the rest of the expansion.
