People here helped me out a while back looking for an addon, so I thought I'd return the favour :) At the request of lavache, a guide to the 'Summary' window of QuickAuctions: (it's specific to glyphs) First, how to acces the summary window: ![]() Click on the 'Summarize' button to open the new window, then while still at the AH, click on the 'Glyphs' button, then 'Get Data'. It will search through, there is a green progress bar at the top. ![]() A bit more info on the numbers you see: ![]() First thing you need to know is that I have set QA to post 3 of each glyph (/qa cap 3 glyphs). So looking at 'Plague Strike', I have 2 on the AH, where I would like to have 3 - i.e. 1 has sold, so I need to craft and post another to replace it. The 'Frost Strike' shows that I have 1 glyph currently posted, but it has been undercut (red text), i.e. 2 have sold and the remaining one has since been undercut. 'Healing Touch' shows (3) in white text, this means I have 3 glyphs in my bags, and none posted at the AH. This is because the current lowest price of 25s is below my threshold of 4g (/qa threshold 4g glyphs). Next up is using the summary window to replenish you stock of glyphs: ![]() After, open up your tradeskill window and click the QA button at the top: (I use Skillet, where this button doesnt show up. You can type '/skillet standby' to temporarily disable it and use the deafult tradeskill frame, and then type it again after to re-enable it) ![]() Then, in the new window, just click on the name of glyph to start crafting, the number in brackets is the number of glyphs that are queued for crafting. You will have to click on each type of glyph seperately to craft them. That's it! Enjoy :D Couple of quick additional points • Limitation with red text showing undercut: If you look back at this earlier screenshot, you will see that it shows 'Glyph of Frost Strike' as having 1 at auction, which has been undercut: ![]() This is incorrect, I currently have none of this type of glyph at auction, however one had just sold, and was in the 'incoming amount' period (if you look at the very fist screenshot you can see that it sold 3 mins before taking this screenshot). As far as QA is concerned, this glyph is still at auction. But since it isn't the lowest priced (as it isn't technically for sale), it shows up as being undercut. So you will need to double check undercut glyphs against the 'incoming amount' ones in your auctions window. • I have no idea how well (if at all) this works with glyphs stored in banks. All my glphs are either in my bags or at the AH (or in the mailbox, in which case i wouldnt be using the summary feature) • To protect my epeen - I do have more than the 1065g shown in screenshot. It's a glyph alt ;) |

lol no probs :) I only switched from lil'spraky+skillet to this a few days ago and am still learning, so I'd wait and see if any other more experienced users have any corrections/comments before you commit :P Don't know about ASTW, I'd guess if it shows the button at the top then it would work. |

Much like a lot of other people, I have separate characters for glyph making (the obligatory DK) and posting auctions, albeit on the same account. What I'm curious about is streamlining my process in selecting which glyphs to create via QA. Is it possible to get the above process to work between characters? When I do the summary on my bank alt, can I get the red X's to appear for the recipes my scribe doesn't know? Similarly, if I mark in QA what glyphs I want to create, can I get that to transition so when I log into my DK scribe, can I click on the QA button and see the list as in the screenshot? Hopefully there is something I'm missing here, as that would help out a lot (and mean I could stop writing glyph names down in text files, only to find I can't craft most of the ones I've listed). |

Answered my own question last night with a bit of fiddling. If your bank alt and scribe are separate chars and you want the red X's to show up, get on your bank alt and type the following: /qa tradeskill Then jump on your scribe, open your inscription pane (I use the default one with hook-ins for Little Sparky and AQ) and expand all your recipes. Next time you jump on your bank alt and do a QA Summarize, you should see the crosses next to stuff you don't know. Remember that each time you learn a new recipe through a book or research, you'll need to open your inscription pane and scroll through to make sure QA picks it up. The marking of glyphs to craft on the bank alt so you can see the list on the scribe seems to work natively, but it's a bit fiddly. Do a summarize, mark the glyphs you want to make and swap to the scribe. Open the inscription pane and press the QA button and the list should be there. However, if you log on/off too much or fulfill some other critera (which I'm not sure of), the list disappears until you do another summarize on your banker. I struck this the first time I found out how it worked, but had to swap back to my banker to buy more herbs. Once I was back on the scribe, I found my list had disappeared. If it work it out (or anyone else knows the proper way to do it) this thread can be updated. |

I found that the numerical Keypad (Number and Enter keys) did not work when trying to put in the number of glyphs to craft in the Summary window.... just thought I'd mention it incase someone thought their QA was 'broken' in some manner. Additionally, I put the reply below in the middle of another post in Inscription, but I thought it might be useful here too. For those of you using Skillit and wishing to access the QA crafting queue via the Tradeskill window....... You can Shift+Click the Profession Icon to open the default UI (Which will then have the "QA" button for the crafting queue in the top right corner). Even if you have Skillit open you can just Shift+Click on the Glyphs icon top right within Skillit again to open the default UI. Regards, Xalarith |
