The default is .5, but I reduced it to the minimum of .3 in-game. Has anyone tried lowering that figure manually in the code to something even lower, like .1? I play with low latency so I thought it might be possible.

Upon further review, it looks like manually editing the Saved Variables file in the WTF folder (Opening Speed) does the trick without any hitches. There's a limit depending on the town you're in and your own latency, but I'm now able to get 50 mails in 10 sec (.2) or better by lowering that opening speed to .1. No problems with this as far as I can tell.

Only thing to keep in mind is that it might skip over a mail or two when the setting is low. Zero's auto-reopener usually cleans those up, but if you're spamming reloadui after each is done to be as quick as possible, lowering it is the way to go.

Bumping this to help those that are using the qa cancelall due to the changes effecting smart cancelling.

After the patch, a lot of the mail lag was reduced, or maybe it's a just good day, who knows, but I have the opening speed at .05 and I can check 50 mails in 5 seconds now. Totally sweet.

Just as a headsup, I also made this into a macro, in addition to having a reloadui macro.

I don't know a whole lot about addons, but I figured I'd mouse-bind both a reloadui and this macro so there's no need to have to drag my mouse back and forth between the buttons. I got this from looking at the short code dealie in Zero's Mail Opener. Thanks!
