So i was thinking while leveling my alts should i make one of their profession each Alchemy. The reason behind this is that my mage does the daily cd and sends the dreadstone to my jc to cut and then sell.Which is a 30-40 profit compared to if i was just to sell it uncut. So ill level my alts up to at least level 65(i believe) to be able to learn the epic gems transmutes.
And that would be like 7 extra transmutes a day which would be huge gold. And if i had the money to buy Marcko gold guide ill make huge amounts of gold while i level each toon ( but sadly i dont have a job,)

So i guess im asking do you think its worth putting in the time and effort to do this?

Lvl 65 is good to go for crafting professions but if you can get them to 68 you can then choose a Mastery. Of course your after gems right, so a few x-mute specced alchemists would be nice.

However. What level are the alts now and how long would it take to level them. Maybe by the time you have leveled them you won't have time to get your gold back that you invested in leveling the Alchemy professions on them.

Got a DK? Fast to lvl up starting at 55 ofc, makes the perfect crafter for your empire.

Edit. Just an afterthought. As Blizz like to remove CD's on stuff in order to Balance Economy, ie, make stuff cheaper for the really casual players, I wonder if they will remove the Epic Xmute CD anytime pre Cataclysm. If enough casuals whinge about the price of gems you never know.

well the way i was thinking i can use the badges on the 10% gear and with he dungeon tool itll be easier leveling now. if i try i probally can get a toon up to 60 in less than a month?

I wouldnt invested any gold in alchemy until 65 or the level you can choose the spec. i was going to choose something like herb/mining/skinning. that way when i hit that level ill have enough mats where it wont cost me.

And i dont think blizzard would remove the CD. dont forget you can get the uncut gems from badge gear and pvp for not that much honor/badges

Depending on where they are now, you should make them herbalists/other gathering profession while they are leveling, send everything you need to a private guildbank, and save a ton of cash by using those herbs (and whatever you chose as second gathering prof) for leveling the crafting professions.

Use the 10% shoulders and the 10% chest to make leveling faster (and the 5% ring if you got one of those) and equip the alts with heirloom weapons (obviously  )

On www.wow-professions.com you can see what you'll need per crafter

P.S. Don't trust links in posts, not even when they are legit
