hello boys and girls.
I currently have two 85s and do not plan on investing the time to level anything else (for now). I know I have plenty of time, but for the purpose of this question, let's leave that possibility off of the table.
My professions are Alch/Inscription (main toon) and JC/Mining (alt). I would like to eventually replace the mining with enchanting so i can get a proper shuffle going on. However, I have noticed the absolutely absurd amount of G-monies gathering professions make during the first week or two of an xpac. Would it be profitable to go double gathering on my main for the first week or so and then drop them for crafting professions? Execution would involve preparing 1-525 lvling kits for alch/scribe, drop them both, pick up Mining and Herb, go nuts with the gathering and selling until prices normalize, then drop gathering and lvl my crafts via the kits i had prepared.
Give me your knowledge.
