Hello all!

My ingame name is Worblehat, and I play a mage. Not 80 yet, but I expect to hit it over the weekend. I play on Blade's Edge and am a casual raider. This is not my first 80 as I have a warrior tank who has seen everything but ICC. I took a hiatus between Uldar and ICC, and have been leveling this wonderful toon in preparation for Cataclysm.

I have never been a rich player...or even part of the middle class. The most gold I have ever held was 6k gold. I generally end up dropping it into the in-game money sinks we call mounts or raid repairs(epic plate repairs hurt...bad). I have set some short term goals, one of which is hitting 20k gold personally, and working with my guild to increase our guild bank to 50k gold. Alot of the players in my guild see these goals as unattainable, but I just link them to the screen-shots on this forum. I am converting them slowly, and putting together a team to make gold via the market.

I am learning as I go, and working on cross profession strategies to make gold. This is a rundown of what I have been doing, and the professions I currently have.

I have two 80s. A mage and a tank. The mage is a scribe/enchanter and my tank is a herbalist / alchemist. My next character is going to be a Miner / Jewel crafter(Worgen priest).

Glyphmas opened my eyes up to the possibilities of playing the AH market. I made some mistake, but ultimately profited from the event. Not as much as some people. But enough to consider it a success for me. I had all the leveling glyphs in my bank and put them up after the patch. I then spent 3 hrs reposting them. I made over 5k gold that night. I even went so much to borrow 60 inks from a buddy to put up new glyphs. It was a wonderful event I wish I was more prepared for. In the end it helped me get my epic flyer on my lvl 72 mage.

I am expanding my operations and looking into new ways to make gold besides utilizing the glyph market, and move into the transmutes / potion market. I have a partner in my guild who just farms herbs, and then farms some more. So I am fortunate in that aspect. Anyways, I hope to post again here in a couple of weeks stating that I hit my goal of 20k gold. So cross your fingers, and send your tips! Again, wonderful forum, good people, and even better tips. I especially love the podcast. I wish you all a good luck in your search for an endless supply of gold as I do.

Till then,

Worblehat

A Little update. I am not rich. :( but ive spent my time playing the game, rather than playing the auction house. I have since gotten back into utilizing my trade skills. I love mysterious fortune cars. I made 6k gold last night, 4k of which is pure profit. I found a supplier for reliable ink, and its cheap, so I am quite happy about it.
