Well, its beena couple months since I stumbled across this here site and decided to make a go of making some little gold pixels ;P
I started out not knowing too much and not understanding fully how certain things work. I still dont know too much but have figured a couple little things out, such as watching MY realms AH and learning how MY realm works.
Not all strategies here work on all realms and not all gold making methods are fool proof and work regardless.
What I have found to work for me was initially the obsidium shuffle, but it got old and well known very fast and just as I was getting into it it also seemed like many others were too so profits were there but just kind of small considered the time being put into it, now has came the latest patch, with it I figured I would try to move in on a profitable market and work to 'reset' things.
For a week before the patch I watched the AH for prices of GCE (thinking if I can control this after the patch when people were going to new dungeons and getting new gear that would HAVE to be enchanted I could profit from their actions), I seen prices drop from 70 to 60, then 40 and finally bottoming out the day prior to patch at 23g per. I had about 200 carnellians sitting so thought I'd just buy all the GCE in ah everytime some got posted aswell...
Well, now for the first time ever I have complete control of the market, I've reset several other markets a couple times purely to see if I could lol. I have successfully kept the price of GCE at a good 75g per and have yet to have any complaints from anybody on the realm
2 Months ago (just under) I was sitting on about 20k gold with little else stock piled........
Now to date I'm sitting happily at 65k cash, 2 bank tabs of pyrite, alchemy character maxed out from zero, 2 bank tabs of elementium, 200+ of each rare gem and about 300 GCE (plus LOTS of other stuff randomly sitting about gradually getting sold).
In total I'm guesstamating I'm nearing the 100k mark if everything was to be sold today at todays prices
20-100k (with the above constraint) in 2 months is nothing short of miraculous in my opinion...I just needed the theories here and some determination to figure the fine details out for myself.

To everyone else, read everything here, understand as much as you can from here but always, ALWAYS take time to understand your own realms economics as this is a much bigger factor than trying to do everything posted here (in my opinion).

EDIT : I should also add that I have purchased 5 bank slots aswell and paid for my friend to max out his BS and given another friend 3k towards his long over due flying skill training
