Admin Regulations

Now that the admin MVP group (AH Barons) have total access to these forums I'd like to lay some ground rules.

1. Spamming and linking to porn, gold selling sites, etc is prohibitted and results in an instant ban.
2. Links containing special urls for monetary purposes are prohibited, however, users can leave links to their sites in the Link Love area. The site must benefit users of this community in some fashion. If the site benefits no one except the author and doesn't violate rule #1, then send a warning and delete the post.
3. All users get one warning for any particular offense. After that the admin may ban at his/her discression for the same offense. New warnings may be given out for seperate offenses.
4. The right to argue on these forums is a fundamental and necessary ideal. No bans should be given out for "nerd-rage" but warnings should be given if users of these forums decide that name calling and factless crap talking is the way to argue.
5. Admin decisions can be disputed by emailing me. Admin actions should not be discussed on these forums and such posts should be deleted plus warnings be given.

Do we have rules about requests for cheating (as in bots and all that)?

I had a post written in Russian today. Should have asked if it was a female tennis player and requested pics before banning.

I was specifically referring about people asking for game cheats and where they can find bot programs.

While I did not warn the guy, I did pick on him (and then others joined).

To me, it just seems like a bad idea to even let such conversations get started.
But could just be me and my need for order.

I'd say lock / delete the thread and give them a warning. While there's no written rule about it, it is against majority of our ethics when it comes to playing the AH.
