So I'm trying the Netherweave bag thing myself. It seems to me that someone clears the AH every evening and there's only one or two bags. I got bored so I posted a bunch of bags for like 20k gold, just to see if anyone's scan would get messed up. Waste of money though.

Today I got my first real competition, who's asking trade for 6g per stack of Netherweave, which usually goes for 8g. That means his minimum price before the AH cut to profit is 6.4g after rep discounts, correct? I have a lot of bags but not a ton of money. However, he's not 80 yet, so I can undercut if needed when he leaves a capital city.

This could get interesting.

EDIT: That guy seems to have vanished--a flash in the pan or more like a really, really slow strobe light? <_< Anyway there's one bag up for 20g and a few up for 15.99g so I undercut by a few silver. Let's see if that works.

EDIT2: No reason to make more posts. Anyway, prices dipped a little bit but I got most of my bags sold and in addition to hitting 1k gold for the first time in several weeks (along with a few dozen more bags banked) I also have tailoring up the the point where I can make Frostweave Bags.

I'm amazed at how many of these sell on my server. I craft them while I'm in raid waiting to rock. People give me crap for spamming them When I can buy cloth for less than 6g/stack and sell them for 15-20g each, why not!

I'm now shifting gears and keeping Netherweave Bags as close to mats cost as possible. If I buy out the <=7g cloth and post everything for 7.50, I lose a little from the AH cut on the 7g cloth but make enough from the 5-6g cloth to cover it (I've seen cloth that low before). We'll see how my antics play out.

A perfect example of the law of averages As long as you average out in profit, you can keep this up forever.
Just make sure you're posting large enough quantities, to discourage people from trying to resell your bags.
Try to have a bit of netherweave bolts on the side just for these sort of events (enough for 100 bags is a good start)

I usually post 20-32 at a time (always a multiple of four), I have a pretty decent number of bags banked, but I don't think it's that high. I have a guild charter but I can never seem to get enough sigs to put the guild together for the bank. There's also a pretty decent Netherweave supply.

Advertise in /2 that you are paying 100g per signature. I've made guilds in less than half an hour that way.

I got an existing guild just a few days ago for free (No I didn't farm it )
Too bad it didn't have any guildbank-tabs , I just had to fix that and buy the first two.
Maybe the fact that the Horde is abandoning Vek'Nilash (EU) has something to do with it.

Don't have that kind of gold, but I'll try bag thing--I'm making them cheaply I guess. LOL. Off to IQD now to follow up on what Zamboni said.

Netherweave Bags has been one of my big markets. I am averaging around, 7g profit a bag and usually post around 5 at a time and they usually always sell. Only problem is making enough bags to keep up with demand!
