I am glad to know I am not the only one so obsessed with this that they made a spreadsheet. This is great work. I also appreciate the Google Docs rather than Excel. Thanks for this.

Hi,

First, great spreadsheet! Absolutely great information. I downloaded this today (during weekly down time unfortunately) and want to plug in the numbers as soon as the server comes back up.

Second, Do you have any experience with Lil Sparkies Workshop? I believe that it gives roughly the same information. Personally I trust either my own math, or math that I can plainly see written out, so Lil Sparkies makes me wonder a little too much because its not transparent. It does work from the auction house scans, which means that information is updated every time you scan the AH with Auctioneer. I'm going to be comparing the two.

Is there a similar version of this spreadsheet for Inscription? It would be nice to be able to use values for Vellums based on the price of the herbs used to make them. It may actually be very easy to simply add the cost of Mats per 1 vellum in a way that they feed into box B10.

Third, I changed the word "Value" in the column headings to "Cost of Goods Sold" or CoGS. As a business major this bugged me a little, so in my copy I just changed the wording a little. I know that most people don't care, but I just wanted to mention that the world value expresses something that cannot be quantified so easily. Value is usually what someone will pay for a good or service... This number actually expresses the cost of all materials needed to make the product. The difference between the two is where the profit comes from.

Just thought I would drop by and leave a personal thank you for this spread sheet, it's really helped me to keep track of things,
before seeing this I was very daunted about getting into the Enchanting market but now i'm giving it a go and updated each
enchant with a colour code based on profitable, not profitable and don't currently have.

I've also been able to easily add in the other enchants that I sell (I do some low level and BoA gear enchants too) and the initial
spreadsheet enabled me to easily add to it.

Thank you for putting this together it's been a really great help! :D

I made my own spreadsheet like this, before I realized this one was here. The only thing I can add is if you DL it into excel, you can create a custom format for the cost columns. Select custom and type in 0"g "00"s "00"c" and put it in copper, and it will show up like gold, sliver and copper pieces.

IE if you put in 50000, you will get 5g 00s 00c

Thank you for the original spreadsheet. It does help a lot.

However I did revise it with an added feature.

Enchanting+Markup Value

I was having an issue with finding out where I should put my fallback prices for the scrolls. So what I did was add in a cell where you input the markup %, in whole numbers, and it will give you the value of the scroll.

Hope this is of some use to some of you.

A lot of good information in this thread --tagging it for any updates. I have been trying to get scroll master to work, which is sort of an ingame excel spreadsheet and que system, however it's very buggy atm.

I wish I knew how to add to the spreadsheet to add things like crusader and other old world enchants, however half the "fun" is setting it all up yourself.

:)

I have a professions spreadsheet if you want to take a look. It's fairly limited, but it covers the Cata enchants pretty much.
