Apart from Spikes, what is the best source of these?

Wowhead isn't playing ball and isn't letting me filter items which disenchant into GCeE.

I have every crafting profession. Carnelians are 20g in AH. Obsidium Ore is 30g per stack. Elementium Ore is 23g per stack.

Do I just shuffle some? Or is there a "cheaper" way?

ETA this is just for my personal enchanting really. I'm all out of stock and want to do some enchants for myself and guildies. Need 100 or so.

As far as I'm aware shuffling the ore into items to DE is still the cheapest.

Even google will return loads of Jewelcrafting/Enchanting combinations when you use "Greater Celestial Essence" for the search.
Thottbot used to be good for these kind of investigations, but the interwebs-browser at work is from the stoneage, so I can't check

Another option, if and or when auctioneer is back running is to use the disenchant search option. It will filter out anything on the AH that will DE into whatever mat you select. It's mostly armours at 25% chance that are on the ah so take that into consideration when bidding/buying.

Gear

You'll find the list of i317+ greens to be pretty slim for any profession, and the mats costs for many of them are prohibitive. Most of my Greater Celestials come from combining all the Lesser Celestials I get from the various rings and necklaces (quantity over quality, as it were).
