I got a hatemail today: "What a retarded price freako!"
I don't really know what set him off. I only post glyphs on that char and have a threshold of 18g.

Indeed. I'm still waiting for my first hatemail and I'm somewhat jealous of you right now :)

I dont get hatemail but I had 1 concerned JC offering advice on gem listings and undercutting percentages when I low walled some rare cuts due to his constant canceling - relisting.

I do. It's just that I don't really understand why he send it. I don't go below 18g per glyph and the majority of my glyphs are above 30g.

On the same not of non-understandable behavior: Today I chanced upon a guy selling two Haunted Mementoes. Bought them for 9k and put one up for sale at 25k/28k and put the other in the bank. No other auctions up. A couple of hours later someone had put up another memento at 99999.99.99 and set the auction to 12h. Mine is set to 48h. Why would he put an auction at 4 times my price at running for 1/4th the time of my auction?
Maybe it's just ZA posting at the fallback.

Rather than competition hate mail it sounds more like customer hate mail, unhappy about the high price you are charging for your glyphs.

I'm using ZeroAuctions, so I should think that I'm at least cheaper than most of the competition.

Being 1 copper cheaper than everyone else doesn't make the price look any less high to someone who thinks your charging too much.

I guess such behaviour can be expected at some point in your gold-making career. Though I never received real "hate mails", I do get all kind of harrassing reactions in Trade Chat on a regular basis.

All the hate mail I've gotten has been extremely polite. I always respond with a wink-and-a-smile demeanor, because I appreciate that my potential customers attempt to be civil.
