Oh, it gets worse. I'm running around checking every source of reputation right now. Just spent over an hour in Dire Maul without a single shackle key drop; as far as I can tell they just don't drop anymore. And the ogre suit quest no longer grants reputation. I did find Zorbin Fandazzle who moved just up the hill from the beach in Feralas due to being chased off by the night elves who rebuilt Feathermoon there. He offered his two zapping quests, each of which granted 350 rep with all 4 goblin factions; but they are no longer repeatable. And these are going to be hard for Horde players due to having to practically go straight through an Alliance town to do them.

Visited Gadgetzan and all the Wastewander mobs are gone, which we knew already. The Southsea Blockader mobs just offshore don't grant any rep when killed. There are a couple of new quests which should grant a little rep; I'll do them later and report back.

In the Barrens there are still a few Southsea mobs left on Fray Island which still grant rep. Most of them were displaced by Theramore mobs moving northward from Northwatch Hold; this is now a high traffic Horde questing area, and when I visited the island most of the Southsea mobs were quite dead. So this is going to be a sloooow grind.

Bloodsail pirates and Venture Co. mobs in Northern Stranglethorn still grant rep, though you have to fly from BB to Rebel Camp or Grom'gol Base Camp to cross the Sundering.

OK, I got out to Ravenholdt and he isn't bugged after all. He's still taking Heavy Junkboxes.

BTW, you can't pickpocket them from Dire Maul anymore; their loot tables were changed. LBRS is still the best place as far as I can tell.

Farming Steamwheedle Cartel Goblin Reputation Post-Cataclysm

I was under the impression that the requirement was to keep your bloodsail rep at honored as well as get exalted with the goblins, but the links above seem to say different, could anyone confirm which it is?

It has never been required to keep them all at the same time.

I have destroyed my Bloodsail rep and farmed all up to exalted for Steamwheedle... but checking the achievement it still says I need Bloodsail honored. I will turn in Darkmoon Faire all to exalted this sunday and lockboxes on it's way... will report how it goes but it looks dark, seems I will have to do Bloodsail again, at least if I look at the tracking of the achievement.

I have a gm who told me I don't need the rep at same time, blue has said it as well, but I wonder if I can ticket this if it ain't working... anyone know? They can easily see I had all reputations needed.

Today I got Ravenholdt exalted, the last faction to get exalted, and as I tought I never got the Insane in the Membrane-achievement. I got all at exalted except Bloodsail which I have done earlier and destroyed. Have done a ticket to see what they say but with 1 day until Cataclysm I guess it will take a long time before a answer...

Will not do the grinding again for something they confirmed would work.

I did it the other way around, trashed my goblin exalteds to get bloodsail rep, and it worked.

There might have been a bug due to all of the changes made to goblins and buccaneers that is causing problems.

But if you've got the hat and the title, there's no doubt you had sufficient rep with Bloodsail at some point, they should give it to you in a few days.

BTW has anyone here made a ticket that didn't respond "We are experiencing an unusually high volume of ..."? Every ticket I've made since BC has had that pop up, making the volume the one thing classifyable as "usual."

Has anyone pointed out to them that it's insulting to the intelligence of everyone who submits a ticket if it always responds that way?

This guy probably did something stupid, like didn't get his rep all the way up to Honored, or he did the grind before Wrath release.
