Hello all JMTC-fans!
I'll make this short, I play on a pretty high populated pvp-server, EU. For a long time NW-bags been my most regular income, but now recently the NW-cloth prices is racing up to 15g a stack and bags down to same price, as it is more tailors also I have a feeling much less bots outside farming. Used to be able to buy NW for average 5g a stack and sell bags for 19-20g. People on my server are aware of prices and its very rare that I can find things worth buy/resell. I'm thinking about getting Alchemy on my lvl 83, she now have herb/mining, and I have farmed almost all herbs for it. But for my problem, its Very Hard to farm the AH. I scan several times a day, and never find anything worth buy. Making a few bids on gems to vendor thats about it. Bought some darkmoon cards which I hope I'll sell...
Wondering if server changeing is the only thing to do..or is it worth it... I need help..

Braidy :)

Hi JMTC Community.

I play on a low-mid populated RP-PVP Realm , EU. I started selling Glyphs 2 weeks ago and sell about 30-50 a day for 44g99s. I would sell for more, but it's not possible. There is one Player I think at least for the last 3 Months selling EVERY Glyph for 45g on the AH(about 5-8 of every Glyph). The funny thing is that he is NEVER undercutting me. Anyway he gets on my nerves. Do you have any advice for me getting him out of the market. In my Opinion People would pay up to 70g/Glyph.
Im sitting on 50k Gold and have every Glyph 3-4times.

PS: a Timeline of the Questions of the Meeting tonight would be awesome.

Thanks for your Great Work.

Greetings,
Arori

Hi all,

I play on a high population EU raiding server and hit 100k last week. I make most of my gold with JC/enchant, obsidium shuffle and raiding consumables/mats.
I don't farm at all except at the AH. I've basically got ore, herbs, enchanting, gems & volatiles covered.
I've started to level another toon for new professions but that may take some time.

So, right now I'm looking to expand in markets other than JC/enchant/raiding mats and go for the usual buy low/stock/sell high approach.
How do you find new markets ? I'm thinking of looking at the US data on TUJ to get some hints.

Cheers
/vivi

Not sure if I'll be able to make it tonight. Assuming I'm not there to ask this myself:

It's probably safe to say that epic gems will be able to be transmuted, and that they will require volatiles. Is anyone stockpiling Volatile Fire or any other volatiles of that sort in preparation for transmuting?

<minor derailment>

I'm stockpiling Volatile Lifes. If they do decide to use Volatiles for the transmute, we should have sufficient warning on the PTR for my Alchemy Army to start churning out the volatiles I need, 15 at a time*. Odds are most of our transmutes will be rubies, so Volatile Fire will be the only other one I'd look at picking up when they're cheap.

(On the other hand, I think we're still six months away from epics. That's enough time to build up some truly staggering stockpiles and a matching staggering loss if we're wrong, so I've become more conservative with my speculations.)

I recently bought about 200 stacks of cinderbloom at 30g a stack which I normally use for fortune cards. I was thinking of selling glyphs to go through my stock faster. My problem with glyphs is I never know what to make. Is there an easy way of finding out which glyphs are best to make or should I just flip them as herbs since the price is back up (the price is normally 80g a stack on my server)?

Thx Ayiana

I won't be able to attend tonight's session, but would love some advice. I only have 1 85 (Enh Shammie, Mining & Skinning), and have just recently started playing seriously. My gold reserves are very low (just under 10k). How would you recommend that someone like me get started into gold making? I have auctioneer, but play on a low-mid population server, so playing the AH doesn't seem super profitable. Any tips are appreciated!

Thanks,
-Jawa

Any idea if the demand for saronite bars will rise at any point? (I did as ordered by Marko and stockpiled them pre-cata.)
I have about 10,000 filling bank slots that could be put to better use.
I do sell a few from time to time, but the deposit cost on these things is a bit high to just keep putting them up for 48 hrs at a time and then not get a sale.
I'm thinking of just vendoring them to get rid of them but, when they do sell they sell for 3-4g a pop which is a decent return on my investment.
So, should i hold on to them and keep moving my other stuff around my alts, or just vendor and make my life easier?
I do have over 500kg now, so I can take the 20k loss, but it seems like defeat : )

thanks Pali

Helo JMTC!

For awhile now i've been trying to dip my fingers into just about every market i have acess to, especial after visiting this blog. Very helpful btw. That being said a good 50-70% of my earnings is still the obsidium shuffle. With the recent speculations of that market crashing whats one to do?

Im not opposed to to finding several more smaller markets to make up for it, but my question is are there any ideas yet as to what might replace that large of a chunk in profits and some strategies to prepare for it?

Thanks in advance, Shamnaddz
